


Ana do Carmo
She is a partner and co-founder of Saturnema Filmes. A director and screenwriter from Bahia, she is represented by Condé+ and a talent for Projeto Paradiso. She also works as a curator, consultant, teacher, workshop instructor, and content creator.
Winner of over 20 awards, including the Cabíria Screenwriting Award, awards from Nicho 54 Lab, NordesteLAB, and the Excellence in Screenwriting Award granted by ABRA. She was one of the five finalists at FRAPA, selected for Dialab, Expocine, Produire au Sud Workshop (France), PLOT Lab (Portugal), and the Franco-Brazilian Screenwriting Laboratory at the Varilux Festival (France/Brazil).
She was one of the 16 screenwriters selected for Netflix's COLAB, and is a co-writer on the series
development “Labyrinth”, selected for Serial Bridges Rio by Series Mania
(France/Brazil), co-wrote a horror/sci-fi series for Amazon Studios and wrote a superhero feature film for Warner Bros, which will be directed by Carlos Saldanha.
He directed 10 short films, including "A Mulher no Fim do Mundo," which was selected for over 30 festivals in 10 countries, including the Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival. He co-directed the feature film "Insubmissas," licensed to CineBrasilTV, which premiered at the Rio Film Festival and was featured in Vogue Cultura. His solo feature directorial debut, the sci-fi "Sol a Pino," will be distributed by Vitrine Filmes and received development support from Netflix and Telecine.
At Núcleo Criativo Películas Negras, a Saturnema Filmes project, he was head of scriptwriting, where he develops science fiction, horror and fantasy series and feature-length narratives with black protagonists.
